It’s a thought that perhaps lacks depth, but as I walked past an office the other day I noticed the sign outside explained that the business offered turn key solutions.
I took that to mean that the solution arrived, much like a car, with just a key to turn in order for it to burst into life and serve its purpose.
But cars haven’t universally had key-turning-type-ignition for a while. My car (a Polestar 2) doesn’t even have a button. Just sit in it, with the key or your phone inside, and you’re done.
“Arse in” solutions might not take off, but as the generations move through will turnkey solutions become push button?
More a medicore thought than an opinion, but one I needed to get out of my head nonetheless.
